GENERAL INFORMATION ON SUTTON

The village and surrounding region offers a country lifestyle that is only minutes from the National Capital and is easily accessed from the Federal Highway, approximately 8 kilometres on the Sydney side of the NSW and ACT border making it an easy 20 minute drive to the centre of Canberra.

The village has a local primary school and a school bus runs to most high schools in the ACT. There is also a local rural supplier and a local shop, tennis court, community shed, playing fields and the local Sutton Pony Club.

The region has a long and diverse rural history. Traditionally, horses, cattle or sheep could be found on most properties.
